Direction

1. Tonkatsu  ingredients are 1 big beaten egg, 1 cup of flour, 1-2 cups of panko bread crumbs ,2 boneless pork chops. 2 slices bell pepper, 1/4 tomato, sliced cabbage, 4 slices cucumber, and parsley for side decoration.

2. First of all, cut the edge of pork chops in several places. Then, season the pork chop with salt and pepper.

3. Then, dip the whole pork into the flour and cover it lightly.

4. Next, dip the pork in beaten egg.

5. Then, coat the pork chop with panko and pat well.

6. Here is the image above.

7. The next step is prepare a vegetable oil filled pan and set the  heat of 170C to  180 C. When the pan is hot enough, lay down the pork gently. Be careful during cooking because the oil might splash on to you.

8. Then, deep-fry breaded pork for a few minutes. Turn the pork over and fry a few more minutes until its cooked through and browned. When the pork is cooked, it will float on the top of the surface so when it does, bring it out from the pan and set in on the plate.

9. When the pork is cooked, it will float on the top of the surface so when it does, bring it out from the pan and set in on the plate. Set the pork to expose to the air for a while to let it cook naturally at the room temperature. This will make the meat softer and promote more juiciness. Basically deep fry the pork until its 80 cooked in the pan and take it out immediately to let it cook at the room temperature of a while.

10. After you set the tonkatsu for a while, cut in to pieces as it is shown above (image).

11. On a plane plate, set the decoration ingredients (cabbage, tomato, and cucumber) on the edge of the plate.

12. Place the tonkatsu on the same plate as the decoration.

13. Now, when everything is all set, pour the tonkatsu sauce in a dipping bowl and you are ready to eat!
